Off the back of our work with Incisive Media’s Risk brand, we were approached by Thomson Reuters, then Thomson Financial, IFR and associated brands to support them on their event strategy and event production. At a time when the internal team was spread very thin, we worked closely with the editorial team to take topics and existing events and turn them into on-brand profitable events.
Over a year, we developed approximately ten events from initial concept to draft programme and potential speakers, marketing and sponsorship sales brief, working closely with operations, securing all speakers and managing speaker relationships, writing marketing copy, and working closely with sponsorship sales to bring sponsors on board while retaining editorial integrity.
Under the IFR brand, we created the Capital Markets Regulation Forum, European Leveraged Finance, Asian Leveraged Finance, Corporate Capital Raising and Subordinated Financial Institution Capital Conference. Under the European Venture Capital Journal brand we created The Leveraged Buyouts Conference, and under the Acquisitions Monthly brand we curated European Acquisition Finance.
At the end of the project we left the newly-hired team with a series of commercial events, and events systems for them to build the next level of the brand.
