Oh, what a day.
A truly heart-breaking day for the UK events industry, with live events and conferences now not running from October 1st, likely for 6 months. Really feeling it especially for colleagues and friends, freelancers and suppliers in venues, production companies, live events, music, film, entertainment, hospitality … the whole enormous (and magical) event supply chain.
I stand with my colleagues. Demanding support and assistance from central government for those 1m #eventprofs who make up our magic industry, whether businesses or freelancers.

Tough times.
And to reiterate – if you’ve been made redundant (or are at risk), and we’ve worked together at any time, please get in touch and let me know how I can help you. Can I connect you to a person or company? Can I put in a good word for you with someone? Can I write a LinkedIn recommendation, or endorse you? Could you use a soundboard, brainstorm, or a second pair of eyes? Do you just want a virtual coffee? Please let me know if there is anything I can do. This was not my idea, but nonetheless a brilliant one. Please feel free to copy and paste this in all the right places. #payitforward #kindnessmatters #weareevents #eventprofs #eventprofsuk
